Living With Mr. DA Poem by KATHY SUE SILLSLiving with a changed man.
When did you become Mr. D? Eyes dark and hateful stare at me. Charming you used to be. A drunk you are now. The man I married is gone. Was he ever real? Disguised as someone you're not. When did you become Mr. D? Drill master hissing out orders. Discipline was harsh if felled to obey. Disloyal you are. Sleeping with any girl you can. Your nothing but dirt. Brightness has faded. Desperate eyes look at me. Are you feeling hopeless? Welcome to my use to be world. Your voice is like a dial tone to my ears. I no longer will listen to your demands. A stronger woman stands before you. You can no longer disintegrate me. Dust particles you have become. The only D I want from you is a divorce. Good-bye Mr D, the devil from hell! © 2011 KATHY SUE SILLSAuthor's Note
