Seasonal Love

Each season brightens love in a man and his wife!

 

Coffee mugs in hand,

husband and wife sit out in the early spring moring.

Whispers of nature's wonders can be heard.

Fragrance of flowers scent the air.

Shimmers of sunlight seep through milky white clouds.

Insects buzz their good mornings.

Spring rejuvenates the earth.

Husband and wife revitalize their love.

 

Summer brings heat waves.

The sun hot and sultry.

Trees burst with vibrant leaves.

A breeze light and delicate blows warm air.

Husband and wife melt into each other with passion.

Love burns as  desire intensifies.

 

Leaves fall and blanket the ground.

Chill is in the air.

Creatures gather food for the winter.

Husband and wife fall back and slow down,

enjoying each other's company.

Love is gathered and embraced.

 

Nature becomes cold and frosty.

Trees stand bare.

Smoke curls from chimeys.

Wild life takes a rest.

Husband and wife rest assure their love is secure,

and will thrive for years to come.

Hand in hand life is treasured.

This is one of the most beautiful works I have read in a while. We're not friends as I have deleted most of them, but I am certainly drawn to your words... Actually, one goes to the bookstore and searches for that book.... without regard for personal situation and such, yes? Through all the seasons of love.... Oh wonderful to have that person.... I thought this was beautiful, how their love changes and survives the changing of the seasons. on a side note, a few errors in spelling ie, intensifies rather than intensifys, also last line of first stanza should read rejuvenate, leave off the s.
