Treasure Chest

Treasure Chest

A Poem by KATHY SUE SILLS
"

Memories tucked away for safe keeping!

"

Minute by minute memories are made.

Day by day they are tucked away for safekeeping,

in the treasure chest of hearts.

Oh, please don't delete it. I am a lover of 'greatly said but leastly worded'.
A wonderful 'treasure'.

Short, simple, and very effective. Each day brings to use new memories to create, new people to meet and start friendships with. Memories are something to hold close to your heart, to cherish. My memories will always be of my Gran; I miss her very much. But this was a lovely little poem. Thank you for sharing this

This is a beautiful metaphor of our lives... all of us hiding away those special treasures... some only gold and silver to us, but precious nonetheless. Loved this vivid glimpse inside us all.
