Sleeping BeautyA Poem by KATHY SUE SILLS
Torrential happiness rains down on him. Desire strickens his being. He stares at his wife. Her sandy brown hair feathered out on her pillow, he lifts a strand from her face while she's sleeping. The scent of her strawberry shampoo tickles his nostrils. He drinks in her beauty.
Light blue eyes as vibrant as a setting sun lowering into the horizon is breath-taking. He could stare into those eyes of beauty that twinkle with radiant light and laughter and get lost forever.
Her bare tanned skin is aglow and silky to his touch. Sultry lips so delectable and enticing, he wants to taste them. Her harmonious voice is music to his ears. A warm sensation blankets him as he watches her sleep.
He glides his hand down her long sexy legs. Pure ecstasy unravels his senses as her feminined body rubs up against him. His breathing becomes rapid.
In the dawn of light he watches her sleep. Her exquisite features all innocent and peaceful. His heart swells with love for his sleeping beauty. © 2011 KATHY SUE SILLSReviews
