Feeling AliveA Poem by KATHY SUE SILLSA person dying, but trying to live to the fullest!
Death is knocking at my door; I'm not ready yet! So many things left to do, living is what I must choose!
Take a walk on the beach, hear the roaring of the waves. The ocean breeze flapping my hair while I walk barefoot in the sand, feeling alive!
Getting weaker, but I must go on. Take a ride on the roller coaster at the county fair. I raise my hands up high as we decend down hill, feeling alive!
The time is getting closer. I must prepare! I bow my head and say a prayer, feeling alive!
Now I must say goodbye. I walk through the tunnel of light. I see heaven's gate! I'm feeling alive!
