A Love Story Has Been ToldA Poem by KATHY SUE SILLSGrowing old together! Summer sunset dreams. Love written in themes. Sun melts into afterglow. An ocean breeze kiss, hearts reminisce. Wind breathes poetic words that flow. Lives are old fashion, but still have passion. Carefree days cascade on waves. Youthful reflections mapped their directions Scented breeze of aftershaves. Eyes show contentment, never resentment. Two people show attraction. Wedding vows unbroken. Promised words spoken. Marriage is satisfaction. Wrinkles mirror love, bright as the sun above. Husband and wife growing old. Minds have grown dim, but life is not grim. A love story has been told. © 2022 KATHY SUE SILLSAuthor's Note
