A lady saying goodbye to a lover that left her!

    The ache persists

    Now I must say goodbye

    Tears won't fall

     You left me

     I loved you a lot

     My heart died

     Smiling is painful

     If only I could cry

     Naked expression sad

     Memories taunt me

     Pain is bitter and bleeds

     My feelings shattered

     Love shouldn't hurt

     But I live it daily

     And you're happy

     Now my Confession

     Each day I'm getting stronger

     My heart mends

     Darkness is lighter

     Eyes saw the real you

     Selfish and cruel

     Life goes on

    You're not my world anymore

     I've consoled myself

     I've moved on

     Don't come calling on me

     Good riddance, babe

That's exactly how I felt when I had to let go. It was hard, true! But do we even have a better option? A good friend of mine recently say her former lover with another lady and oh! The pain in her eyes... I could see instant regret, rage, and pain creep into her. Moving on is hard. But honestly, your life should revolve around you and you alone.
