I'm Watching YouA Poem by KATHY SUE SILLSA girl being stalked Stalked by a living nightmare She stays awake and feels his stare Ears listen for every sound She can't keep her fear down Images sway in dismay As they taunt their prey Air burns in frighten screams Oh, how she wishes it to be a dream But eyes are opened wide Sleep won't come even if she tried Nowhere to flee He ignores her pleas Heart breaks into unsettled nerves She fears he's around the curve He is watching her every move What does he have to prove? Eerie sounds become creepy How can she be sneaky? Obsession continually fills his mind He knows she's his kind The time is coming soon He'll take her under the full moon Eyes squint through binoculars Her sexy face satisfies him particular Time is erasing hope She cannot cope He's in her house She's trying to be quiet as a mouse Hands grasp an arm Her gun is disarmed A wicked laugh escapes He plans to rape A boom rings out The gun went off without a doubt Pleas beg for her not to kill She cries we have no deal © 2022 KATHY SUE SILLSAuthor's Note
