Love Songs Play In Unsung memories

Someone who has lost someone they love.

Melodies kiss upon lonely lips,

and memories dance to a love song.

Now, I breathlessly wait to hear a melodic phrase.

but in my deepest thoughts lyrics shiver in tears.

A gentle breeze serenades a moment of you,

and I close my eyes to hold onto thin air.

The solitude wraps me in your existence

where we dance to unsung memories.

Rhythms of warmth leave me cold,

standing here without you.

Your scent touches my senses,

and an ach release tears behind melancholy eyes.

My once passionate heart faints in silence

as my ears fall deaf to a piano playing love songs

to unsung memories.
