Her Heart Blows In The Wind

Her Heart Blows In The Wind

A Poem by KATHY SUE SILLS
"

Lost love

"

The wind took a piece of her heart

An ache ripples within her existence

Nostalgia made tears paint her sadden face

While the clouds cried that day

Her heart drips on summer heat

A mountain of pain dances in the rain

Imperfection of love shadows the once glistening moon

Upon the wings of air her heart resides there

Unpleasant words written in permanent ink tell their story

Abstract tomorrows fade into wannabe

When her heart blows in the wind,

the sun and moon stare with misty eyes

Another piece of her heart serenades the bleak

horizon with a melancholy tune

If only her heart's destiny was to find the

one who tore her heart apart,

and put it back together again

Would be nice to find the place where the pain begin and erase the hurt. I liked the flow of thoughts and the hope in the words. You made the reader feel and understand your words. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.

A very pleasant way of letting go
Your words speak positivity of a rather negative event
I love that
The follow of your words feels like a let go
