SeasA Poem by imagesinwords
Sailing in fathomless seas
Drifting alongside ocean currents The tide is high I am holding on This way or that life’s a tough uphill climb I seek the simplicity in array fields Of a complicated nature this jargon of life So my areas of joy I find Even in the simple truths of a stunning rail journey Boarding the train from the nearest station In the country lands I live Then whizzing past picturesque lands Meadows and flower fields hills and lakes Faster than witches faster than the spur of a thought That the scenes shift or traverse backwards as train moves on Ecstatic a moment to gaze at this beatitude Wishing that the impression gets immortal or Imprinted in mind’s recess Traveling by train and perhaps traveling alone A moment in self exploration touching base With my inner self.reclining in the couch In the trains compartment sipping on lemon drinks Occasionally reading fiction and books Rest of the while just gazing outside the large window Watching the sunset before the dark befall And I would not be able to see anything in the darkness What brings me a sense of unbound pleasure and joy Is like this the simplicity as in the train journey Across bucolic lands unknown frontiers Unfamiliar and yet very nice © 2019 imagesinwords |
