Throw it All Away

Throw it All Away

A Poem by A. Star

Throw away your worries
Throw away your fears
Make sure to keep the glory
But try to forget the tears

Remember stormy nights
And how they made you scared
Remember all those horrid fights
When happiness seemed rare

Remember all our smiles
The laughing never died
How it got us through our trials
How it kept us sane inside

Throw away your regrets
Throw away your troubles
I want you to forget
How your thoughts would jumble

Remember your shattered heart
How awful that it felt
Remember being torn apart
And how your soul would melt

Remember walking on air
Oh, how light you were
How it left you without a care
Your feelings you would pour

Throw away the past
Throw away the future
Focus on life while it lasts
Forget all that torture

Remember when the world ended
The pain we could not stand
How our thoughts ascended
From small fears to fears so grand

Remember when we won
The darkness gone, we could finally see
All our fears were gone
We were together, you and me.
