This heart of mine
Had not beat once
To the music of life;
Will it ever,
Oh I wonder,
Now that it
Beats no more to
The rhythm of love;
For where and how
Am I to find
A perfect tune
With the lyrics gone
And the notes lost?

Is this heart of mine
To quietly beat
In void of sounds
Only to then be
Unnoticeably silenced
To death?

Yes, this heart of mine
Humbly wishes no more
Than just a song
To beat to so that
It is assured of
Being heard.
So that it is known
To have beat.

Dedicated to the lost souls who have not yet found their passion and love in life, who are still in search for the strengths in selves and their purpose of existence.
