Chapter 1A Chapter by T. Jay KeighThe setting is a high school in a hallway. A blonde haired, violet eyed girl takes a step into the classroom just as the late bell rings. By most people's perspective, she would have been on time. But one, idiotic teacher thinks differently. “Hey! You! Get back here!” she yells. However, the student continues to walk into the class. Angry, the plump, dark skinned teacher rushes towards her into the classroom and grabs her arm. “I told you to come here! Now you get your butt to the office, young lady,” she said, glaring. But the blonde haired girl glared right back, eyes turning red. “Now look here, you insect,” started the girl, “I've been putting up with your stupid rules for way too long. Either let go of my arm, or I'll tear it off.” The teacher looked at her incredulously. Is she threatening me? the woman thought. The girl smirked and added, “This is a threat.” The teacher stood wide eyed, shocked by her words, but she soon recovered, shook her head, and began to lead her out of the room. But the girl stopped and didn't budge. Her eyes got redder, blood red and glowing, and she grabbed the teacher's arm. And then, she ripped it off. The teacher screamed as she saw her own arm in the hands of the girl, a scarlet haze starting to fill her vision. The girl just grinned back and said, “I told you. Don't mess with a demon.” Lilith saw how the teacher woke up screaming, sweat pouring from her face. Lilith laughed, holding her stomach. “Oh God! This is SO funny! Hahaha! Ahhh, but that'll teach her not to mess with me anymore.” She lifted off the roof and flew home to the castle in the middle of the forest, which was located on the outskirts of Sentiville. Cliche, huh? However, Lilith loved the secluded castle that offered her solace from the prying eyes of the towns people. Ms. Wentsfield had been on Lilith's case for so long for the littlest things, and she had grown tired of it. This was what led her to manipulating a little fear into Ms. Wentsfield's dreams that night. Hopefully this would scare her into leaving Lilith alone. © 2013 T. Jay Keigh |
