This is a cute poem. Your tone is very happy and I don't see a lot of poems like that these days. I think you could make it more clear as to who the speaker is and who the speaker is talking to. I also want to know more about the beautiful day. What does it look like? What makes it beautiful to the speaker? Also the rhyme scheme is good, the only thing is that the "c**k-a-doodle doo" line throws off the flow a little bit. Overall, good job! :)
