So I can picture brighter days

 

Show me a distraction

So I don't have to watch what I see

Break my heart

To erase all of me

 

Be my prince

So I can trust guys

Tell me the truth

So I'll believe your lies

 

Tear me apart,

Rip me to pieces

Don't try to explain

If you're truly speechless

 

Throw me some chocolate

To help me heal

Sign on as my partner

We'll strike a deal

 

Make me ignorant

That way I won't have to know

I won't have to grow

I won't have to stoop so low

To make you proud...

 

Tell me what you want

So I don't have to guess
