And I long for this mirror perspective of when we'll be lovers at last.

A Story by Ash.

My mind is numb with the dullness of my job. I just completed sticking one hundred and twenty mailing addresses onto old envelopes. Oh, fun. I have a dire need for amusement, otherwise, I am going to be in a deep slumber in a matter of minutes.

Last night was rather uneventful. I took our next door neighbor's dog, Annie, on a walk, and played piano for awhile. Sara Bareilles, "Love Song", is actually recognizable, now. Cody drifted off, so he didn't get to call, but he did text me at two this morning apologizing for not calling. He felt, "so guilty", but I believe my text was, "No worries, dear. Sleep well. Night. <5-2." Seeing as I was barely conscious, I don't remember if my text was even legible. I did wake up this morning with a text from him reading, "Noight noight <2+1". He and I have decided to make our "<3's" with math problems. Hey, at least it is keeping my simple math skills up to par. Hopefully, a few certain people will not flip out because we send little hearts to each other. God forbid best friends love and care for each other. Meh, I won't even get started on that topic. Aside from my stomach hurting, I am in a fantastic mood.

I am currently trying to think of a topic to write my short story on. My creativeness has been lacking lately, which is rather depressing. I will blame the lack of sleep and the dullness of the city I reside in. Maybe, the concert I am attending this evening, will inspire me to write. Who knows. I sure hope Michael can make it to the concert...We shall see, I suppose.

Goody! I have some work to do! Now, I will no longer be bored out of my skull.
