Just Like My Teacher Always SaidA Poem by LoVeDoNtHaTeFor those who feel repressed and have the feeling that they can't express their own self. She sat at the piano, The grand black piano, Her fingers curved, Her back straight, Her head high, Like her teacher always said, And pressed the keys lightly, Pianisimo, Just like her teacher always said. She played soft at first, Her fingers singing along With the light, flighty notes. She played Harder Faster Banging the black and white keys her fingers flying along as if they were on fire sweat beading her brow her forehead wrinkled in concentration her eyes bright and wild and alive… … She played a soft melody, Like her teacher always said. Soft and slow, Perfect and pretty, Just like her Teacher Always Said. © 2009 LoVeDoNtHaTeAuthor's Note
