Uncooperative ImaginationA Poem by illusionedWindI wrote this while sitting on my hospital bed dying of boredom.
I'm tired, lonely.
This hospital drains my energy. My only savior is imagination, so, in my desperation I turn to it for inspiration I close my eyes, tightly. "OK imagination, heres your cue, you understand?" I open my eyes, and... Nothing. Hospital walls still stand, I'm still tired, and not any less lonely. Darn it! "Why aren't your working?!?" I wait...Nothing. OK, playing hard to get. I know this game. Immature, but I'll play along. Once again I shut my eyes. This time means business. © 2012 illusionedWind |
