Ignored IllnessA Poem by illusionedWindInspired by my mental illness.
I view her world through a frosted window.
A world as warm with love as mine is cold with hate. She won't look at me. For the longest time I've been regarded as nothing. But if I am nothing, why does she worry? She locks the windows and doors tight, for she must know that I am getting stronger. My presence alone makes her cringe behind her million dollar mask. Soon, I will slip inside her thoughts, at my feet she will beg for release. I will make her regret ignoring me. © 2012 illusionedWind |
