NymphA Poem by Deidre A. H.The w***e slithers again.Pressure
hard and gentle Coaxes
prickly warmth from the belly Slate
of thought swiped clean Words
drifting away, vanishing in A
sparse and chalky fog Syllables
rattling from the throat as an infant May
incessantly gibber and sob Nighttime
collapses, the signal to crawl Clambering
hand over knee A
desperate w***e in want for Throes
of addiction Utterly
unsatisfied ‘til glistening with Salt
and water Hair
mussed; tangled; matted to the sheets Wails
of denial increasing temperatures Sensitive Agonizing Tender Counterintuitive,
wrestling the pleasure Unable
to cease thrashing, delighted by Marks
and bruises Yet
only satisfied for so long Before
the w***e slithers again © 2010 Deidre A. H.Featured Review
