Chapter Two
I felt detached from everything for a few brief moments untill I landed on my back on what felt like a leafy ground. A groan escaped my mouth as pain exploded in my head, I couldn't see Driet anywhere nearby making me worry slightly, did he make it out of the ripple in time or was he stuck in Ferentha? I turned over on my side and coughed slightly, the ground was still spinning in myu vision but had started to slow some. A sharp whistle caugth my attention along with the flutter of wings.  I looked up to find a large brownish red bird stading infront of me, its large eyes glowing sky blue as it stared back at me.
 "Dreit..?'
I sat up on my knees as it clicked its beak at me and fluttered to me, I extended a hand to it.
 "Yes silly who else?"
I marveld over the beautiful red-gold feathers that glittered in the moonlight as Dreit moved.  My nose wrinkled at a foul scent at the same time, Dreit hopped to my shoulder as I stood.  Loud noses from machinery hirt my ears, a strip of black "wood" scarred the earth not mroe than fifty paces infront of me and thingszoomed down it at fast speeds.   My nose wrinkeled at teh stench of them and Dreit folded his wings with a chirp, footsteps were nearby making me jump. Everything here was so different than the stories I was told.  Earth was nothing like Ferentha by the slightest.
  "Hey who's there?'
Turning only to have a bright shined in my face, I raised a hand to blockthe light and find out who called out. It was a male little taller than me, he looked no older maybe a year at the most than me.  With the light shining in my eyes I couldnt tell out any features only that he was  a male due to the deep velvetiness of his voice.  Before I could answer one of the fast moving machines howled from the road making me jump in fright and fall backwards, Dreit flew off my shoulder and circled the male with a low whistle.  I heard a chuckle and the light went out.
  "It's her Dad"
"Bring her over to the house then Cain, i'm sure she's had more than enough confusion for one night."

My eyes immediantly adjusted to the dark like normal and I could see the male along with a taller and much older one behind him not far off. Dreit had come back over to me and landed on the ground.  The younger male that was called Cain walked over to me, He smelt like those of my world, different than what he called his 'dad', yet some of the words he used confused me.  Shrugging it off for now I watched as Cain stood infront of me and offered his hand to help me up.
"Well Earth must be a totally new experience for you"
I took his hand cautiosly and he pulled me to my feet, I slowly let my hand fall from his as I stared back into his eyes, they were a reddish gold like Dreits feathers, odd for humans in Earth, as I was told none had eyes like that.  Having issues finding my voice I just merely nodded  and my gaze switched to a rather large home off in the distance behind him where his 'dad' was heading with a beam of light bouncing along the ground.  Cain sighed and looked down at Dreit who clicked his beak a few times and fluttered to my shoulder once more.
"Well lets get going before someone gets suspisious."
Cain turned and beckond me to follow him with a warm smile, I felt like an idiot for staring back at him clueless for a moment and then started after him, my agile body easly catching up to him.
***********************************************************************************************
Cain Rowan, I soon found out this was who was choosenfor me to stay with, and his father  Anthonie Rowan both sat across from me in different chairs as I drank some water from a mug. Anthonie had started a fire which illumenated off them, Cain had shaggy black hair which set off his dark toned skin and reddish-gold eyes. He was muscular for his age but not so much to where it made him look out of place. Cain wore a black shirt with what they called"jeans", this material was foreign to me and looked unuasl compared to my elven wove black cloth clothes.  His father look simalar to him, black hair that was neatly combed and cut short, dark skin, yet deep blue eyes.  The two Rowans watched me for  a few untill a rather large sizedd cat strolled into the den, gold stripes wrapped around its torso and its white-blue eyes immediantly locked onto Dreit. A loud screach was heard as Dreit flew off his perch to the cat who mewed playfully and stood up on its hind feet.
  "Dreit!"
I stood up alarmed but shocked as well when the cat merely touched its nose to my pixale` and purred softly before going over to Cain and jumping onto his lap.
"So I see Dreit is a pixale` like Ryu here."
Cain chuckled softly and looked over to me.
  "So what is your name?"
Anthonie glared at his son but said nothing as I slowly sat down beside Dreit and let my fingertips trail along his spine.
"Mine name is Aliyah, Aliyah Rose, I'm sorry for just intruding on your home like this though."
I had managed to find my voice again  but vaguly aware of Cain watching me with curiousity.
"No don't be sorry one bit Aliyah, the honor is ours for even having you come to Earth like this, your Faythe.."

He tested the word to make sure he got the term right and continued when I nodded.
"Your faythe had informed us of your past, well most of it, and we were stil even more excited to have you stay."

I looked first at Anthonie then at Cain and his Pixale`who now padded over to Dreit and pawed softly at him.  I stared curoiusly at Ryu with a small smile, his markings amazed me as they glowed in the firelight.  I jumped slightly when Anthonie stood up form his chair with a yawn startleing Dreit and Ryu  as well.

"Well kids I have work in the morning so off to bed you too."
I looked up as cain got up as well and sighed slightly.

"Cain be nice and show Aliyah the guest bedroom and take her bags up there while your at it."

He pointe to my stachles on the floor near the door and cain glowered slightly, I stood up swiftly and grabbed them myself before either of them took a step.  When I turned though Cain was already passing by me up the stairs.
  "Night Dad"
Cain waited for me before proceeding upstairs to the bed rooms, insisting on the wya he took my bags but I refused.
"Well Aliyah school doesnt officaly start till monday so tommarow Dad told me to go out and get you some new clothes and such..."
He said the last part with a slight bit less ethusiastic but I ignored it, keeping my eyes on the ground I nodded slightly before he stopped at the endof the hall where two doors were, he opend the one on the left side of the hall.

"This one is yours then Aliyah, mine is across the hall if you need anything, and the bathroom for up here is inbetween the two. "
He pointed outside in the hall before switchig on the light, a mahogany bed sat on the north side of the room near a window that gave me the perfect veiw of the woods outside, the moon hung heavily in the night sky almost at its full peak. A slight shiver of pleasure went down my spine at the sight, by weeks end she would be calling my true form with her song.  I smiled slightly at this but turned to Cain when he stopped talking.

"Ah, thanks again Cain, Im really sorry about me coming into your home like this."

He said nothing to me but watched me curiously like he wanted to say something but was afraid to, the feel of distrust came up to me but I pushed it aside.  Something about him made me even more curious, he didn't seem human like I was told by the Faythe, anthonie was completly human other than the fact of his heritage but Cain seemed completly different, like he belonged in ferentha instead of here.  We stood there for a while watching each other cautiously before we both heard his father yell from downstairs.

  "Lights out  kids"
Cain sighed and said nothing before meeting my gaze once more and leaving to his room with Ryu who rubbed against my leg before dashing out of the room.

Morning had come fast for me the next day, sunlight bathed the room as I layed in bed half asleep listening to the chirping outside.  I had feel asleep in a breastband and shorts that nightdue to the heat that rose upstairs, my tann body was uncovered in bed with the blankets pushed back. Driet roosted on the foot of my bed with his head tucked under one wing.  Sighing contently I let lastnights memories catch up to me as I slowly awakend, I barely noticed the footsteps coming up the stairs to my room.

  "Aliyah are you awke yet?"
I jumped at the sound of Cains voice when teh door opend, he yawned slightly and coughed when he saw me. I fell out of bed onto the floor.

"Umm, sorry ill meet you downstairs.."
I saw his face fluster  as he looked away embarassed, Ryu snickered in a catlike way while tredding downstairs.
"No your fine, sorry just caught me off guard."
I stood up just as Cain shut the door, Dreit chuckled from his perch.

"The boy appears to have never seen a female in your state"

I glared at him and sighed before getting dressed quickly and going to the door and finding Cain coming out of his room dressed in a dark shirt with words on it and jeans, his hair was wet with water from his shower I assumed. I felt instantl out of place with my elfen clothes and white hair but Cain only met my gaze with a smile, seemenly forgretting waht had happend now.
"Well I suppose we should get you something to fit in with..."
His smile warmed me slightly while stopping by the stairs allowing me to go down first poleitly. He soon led me to his truck outside as Driet and Ryu followed us.
"Im afraid Dreit will have to stay out by the truck with Ryu while we're in the stores today, Earth isn't as friendly to animals as your kind is."

I Glanced at him then the truck, it was an unusual looking object and smelt of metal and carbon. I wrinkled my nose.

 "What is this thing?"

Cain chuckled softly and led me over to the side of it and opened the door for me to get in. I stood there weirly eyeing the thing.

"Its a Chevy, Its what we earth people use for transportation."
I looked at him with a cocked eyebrow, my experience with these things last night still startled me. Cain only sighed and pulled me over.

"dont worry it wont bite you"

Eyeing the distance form the ground to the truck I gave in and went to get in, with a little help from Cain I was buckled into the thing as he went around to the other side and got in aswell.  I looked down to find my hand shaking slightly ,like a leaf in a breeze Cain luckily didn'6t noticethis to my releif. He started the engine by turning a key like object and it roared to life making my hears hurt. I jumped at the noise, my eyes going weirly to Cain as he chuckled slightly and started to back out of the driveway. This was going to be and interesting day for me.

"Hey kido's how'd shopping go?"

We got home around dusk, Cain and I were loaded down with heavy bags and were just walking into the house when Anthonie walked around the corner from the kitchen to greet us, he didnt say a word about the amount of bags we had like Cain thought he would.
"Not bad actualy dad, Aliyah was quite interested in the mall than she thought she'd be."

Cain smiled at me for a moment as our pixale`s walked-flew- in behind us, Anthonie beamed at this and patted me on the shoulder.
"Good job Aliyah, go ahead and get washed up kids dinners almost ready."
Anthonie meet my gaze warmly and ruffled his sons hair, they exchanged looks for a brief moment Anthonie seemed to be giving Cain a warning glare but I didnt ask only proceeded upstairs. I heard Cains footsteps soon behind me coming up the stairs, the bags rustleing slightly against him as he walked.  I was already in my room with dreit snoozing on the end of my bed, his red-yellow eyes half closed as Cain walked in.

"So are you ready to go to school with me tomarrow or do you need a few more days to adjust?"

He sat my bags down besid ethe ones I had already placed on the bed, I yawned softly today had been enjoyable and Cain had taught me so much about his world and how it was so different than mine.   I looked at him as he sat down on the edge of my bed with a relaxed sigh as I began to hang things up in the closet on the far south wall of the room. I could feel Cains unusal redgold eyes watching me as I did so, it made me feel slightly uncomfortable.
"I guess I am, this is all new to me so I don't knwo what to really expect"
I stated simply while turning back to him when I had the majority of todays clothes placed up in the closet on hangers.  I hadn't been paying close attention obviously when I ran into Cain who was standing  now infront of me holding the last bad I was about to go for.
"You know Aliyah, you can't say anything about where your originaly from right?
I stared back kind of shocked that he had just come right out and said it but I also understood why he did. Many people today at the mall had stared at me, most had shied away from me if I had stepped to closley, I was alienated from Earth humans by jsut the way I looked, my ears that came to a sharp pointed curve didnt help the fact either.
"Neither one of us can afford to have us exposed, Earth is not as friendly as Ferentha and would love to have us locked up in a Lab for experiments."

I blinked a few times taking in what he just said, I finaly relized he said 'us' and not 'you' as in refering to both of us instead of  just me. I looked at him puzzled and slid the bag from his hand.
  "What do you mean us?"
With a questioned look I set the bag down on the floor softly and gazed at him with a hard look, he relized what he had said and immediantly flustered, I could hear his steady heartbeat pick up in speed. Although I knew something was not right about him from the start I had breifly erased that from my mind thinking he was just different physically from the rest of the humans.  He  purposly kept his gaze from my questioning curious eyes.
"Another time, get changed and showered dad will be hollaring for us soon when dinners done."

He took a chance to meet my gaze that was slightly hurt from the fact he wouldn't trust me.  Cain seem to see this in my tawny green eyes and sighed, his eyes slightly torn at my expression.
"Please don't bring it up around Dad"
Cain said in a hushed voice before passing by me, my skin prickeld when his arm brushed against mine. I stood still for the longest time trying to process what just happend, before I finally decided to get cleaned and changed into a freash new set of clothes Cain had bought me to sleep in. He was sure to buy me something to wear to bed after this mornings' incedent. My shower felt great after the past two days stresses and exciments, my sholderblades were still sore from falling backwards through the Ripple. After my steamy shower had stopped I immediantly got out to get dress and retain some of the heat out in the cool atmosphere in the bathroom. A knock sounded at my door making me jump and stumble while trying to get my shorts on. letting out a small audible gasp from my stumble I pulled on my shorts and headed to the door to open it. Cain was standing there, a white t-shirt stretched over his broad chest and flannle pants sheathed his legs.
"Dinners ready if your up for it"
I was tempted to say I wasn't hungry to aviod having to be near Cain, I felt like he didnt want to be near me by the way he looked at me now. I couldnt tell if I had done something to offend him or not, my stomach though gave an loud growl giving me away. I sighed and opened the door all the way to get out of the bathroom to go eat.
"Yea i'll eat.." I said softly keeping my gaze away from his as I passed underneath his arm that rested against the door frame. Something caught around my wait stopping my from proceeding downstairs.

'Please don't mention anything from earlier, I promise I can explain it later just not now"

Cains face was close to mine makingit hard for me to concentrate suddenly, his scent hit me with such force it made me slightly dizzy. I inhaled a little to sharply and closed my eyes briefly, Cain watched me puzzled by my reactions but said nothing about it.

"please" he pleaded softly once more.

All I could do was nod once, he released me from his hold and I darted downstairs startled at why I acted this way around him just now.  Downstairs I smelt the aroma of meat wafting in from the kitchen, my nose detected it to be veneson and my mouth immediantly watered at this as I walked into the kitchen. Anthonie smiled warmly at me and Cain when we came in. He frowned slightly noticing the tension coming from me but didn't question me about it as he placed plates of food onto the table we were going to sit at. My stomach growled loudly again as I looked at the veneison on the table. Anthonie had taken the seat at the far side of the table leaving the two closest seats open for me and Cain, I growled silently in my mind but sat down anyhow.

Dinner went by well, Anthonie tried a bunch of small talk with us during it but not much was said alltogether, I kept my mouth shut like Cain had asked me.

"So Aliyah we need to get your story straight for tommarow."
Anthonie had pulled me away from helping Cain clean up from dinner into the living room and sat me down on the sofa across from his chair.  He met my gaze serious for the first time since my arrival.
"We can't have you exposed to the other people here for the main fact they would kill you on sight or take you away to study you like an animal."

I grimaced at the mental image that formed in my head from this, it was not in my nature to be violent to others unless needed to be, but my short temper usualy didnt last long.

"So what I've told most of our friends and relitives is that your an old friends daugther that had passed away and you were sent here from his will."

I gazed back at Anthonie barely reacting as Cain snk down into the coach near me, I nodded once in response, it made sense to me and was a great cover up.

"Good, now that we have that out of the way.."
Anthonie turned to his son with a mixed look.
"What have you told Alex exactly?"
I lifted my head at this curious to who this person they spoke of was, Cain's face turned a light shade of red under his already dark tone.
"I just her we were having a family friend come live with us for awhile and I cound't see her again till monday"
Anthonie nodded in approval, "I hope you don't plan on revealing your self to this girl.." He eyes Cain in a very father like way, I felt my stomach twist slightly- an unsualy feeling swept over me and I couldn't quite place what this new feeling was.

"If you don't mind I think I'll go to bed now"
I stood up swiftly as Anthonie looked up and nodded warmly and stood up as well.
"No problem kido, I'll be sure to have Cain wake you up in time"
Anthonie patted my head and pulled me into a warm hug, I almost choked at this when he released me his eyes smiling slightly. "Night then" I turned to go upstairs as he said this. Half way up the stairs I heard him turn back to Cain and restart their coversation. .
 "Hey Dreit"
I whispered softly onec back into my room withthe door shut Dreit turned his head to me while tearing off a peice of meat that was in his claw, a soft chirp was muffled by it
"Aliyah! Earth is so interesting, Ryu has been explaining everything to me today I have neverbeen so fasinated in my life"

I sighed while letting my self plop down onto my bed and lay out ontop of my covers, I didnt bother turning on the light -my vision was already tuned to the dark naturaly.  Dreit overwhelmed my mind with everything he had learned today in a matter of minutes. I smiled at how excited he was to be learning about these things.  Time passed with Dreit explaining things to me, catching my interest by a lot of things, when I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and I immediantly stiffend as my door opend some and he poked his head in.
"Sorry if we chased you off down there hon` but I needed to talk to Cain about some things."

I nodded at Anthonie surprised he was up here, I noticed Cain sneaking off to his room behindhim.
"Its not a problem, I needed to catch up with Dreit anyhow.'
Anthonie smiled at this and nodded, curiousity burned at his eyes,"By chance Aliyah is it possible you can tell me what species you are coming from Ferentha?"
I glanced at Dreit who gave me a reassuring look and I turned back to Anthonie.
"In my world my race I am is mostly frowned upon, Im part elf as you can tell but as well I am what your world calls a 'Lycan' "
I notice he didnt flinch or look at me with disgust like I had been time and time before in my past. I heard Cain shuffle in teh hallway making my attention snap behind Anthonie.
"Well your an interesting person Aliyah and we're both more than overjoyed to have you here." he said softly as I stiffled a yawn that was coming on, my eyes felt heavywith sleep and he noticed.
"I'll let you get some sleep then, night kido"
I smiled at him before starting to lay down on the bed but I sat back up with I remebered what I had been curious about.
"Oh anthonie.."
He stuck his head back into the door and smiled. "Yea kido?"
"Who is this Alex you spoke of?"
I saw his lip twitch slightly and heard Cain shut his door loudly making me jump at the loud noise.
'Ah she's well what we call Cains girldfriend, in Ferentha the process is called courting another but here we don't use that term anymore it's now called 'dating'"
I felt my stomach twist in that familiar feeling again but ignored it, a monster inside me was clawing at me, in anger? No it couldnt be. Looking back up at him I nodded.
"Thank you then"
With that he shut the door and I was left to my thoughts and Dreit, I felt something clawing at my inside as I thought about this Alex and Cain together, for some reason it bothered me and I didnt know why, it wasn't like I had feelings toward Cain other that a friend, or did I? I scowled in the darkness and laid down under the covers exhausted and confused. I was not lookig for ward to tommarow for once.

"Aliayh do you have everything?"

I was finishing packing up when Cain strided into my room with Ryu at his heals, I kept my eyes down and closed my bag witha nod. I had barely said even two words to Cain since yesterday night before dinner. Anthonie had managed to have a meaningful conversation with me over breakfast but that was all the talking I had done today. I turned and put my bag on to find Cain blocking my way out of my room. I glowered at him.
 "Can I get past please?"
I managed to asked beforebiting down the smart remark I had on the edge of my tounge, I didnt knwo why I was acting like this. Cain sighed softly.
"Why are you being like this Aliyah? I haven't done anything to you."
He tried to touch my shoulder but instinctivly I flinched away, my eyes immediantly darting away from his. Anthonie yelled downstairs for us to get  move on and I took this chance to dart by Cain as the doorbell rung, the door opened, I could hear anthonie's voice along with a females.
 "Cain, Alex is here!"
He yelled as I started to go down the stairs and saw Alex coming into the house, her eyes darted to me with a smile that seemed fake to me.

"Hi, you must be Aliyah!"
She exclaimed while walking to me and pulling me into a hug, I made a face that made Anthonie laugh slightly. I stood absolutly still in Alex's arms and she akwardly released me, I noticed that her white-blonde hair didnt match the color of her eyebrows and her brown eyes seemed to look at me with slight distaste. I heard Cai n come down the stairs behind me and rush to alex, his arms open for her. I backed off into the the other room with Anthonie as he left as well.
"Sorry bout that kido, Cain hasn't seen much of that girl lately and it was driving him crazy."

I said nothing but kept my head down, their embrace had set a flare to the monster inside me that clawed in my gut and sent bad images into my mind. I quickly pushed them from my mind.

"anthonie..-"
he looked up at me with a smile as he got his keys.
"You know aliyah you can call me dad if it makes you feel better."
This had taken me into a shock, I never had parents or people to represent a family but here was Anthonie taken me in like a daughter, I felt my eyes sting with moisture.
:Well, dad.." I tried it out for the first time. "since the full moon is approaching fast I was wondering idf I could use tonight to get it out of my system.." I snuck a glance at him but he was still smiling. "Sure thing hon`, we have fifteen acres of woodland if you need it so feel free."
I smiled in return as he patted me on the shoulder, "But don;t be surprised if your not the only unplanable thing out there tonight"
Watching him confused  as he passed by me I felt my jaw hang open and immediantly closed it as Cain grabbed his bag off the couch beside me.
"Come on Aliyah, Alex is ready to go and we need to get to school"
My nostrals flared at the sound of her coming up beside Cain and takeing his hand in hers.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The ride to school was long, I was forced to sit in the backseat while Alex took thr front seat refusing me to sit near Cain at all. I felt anxious and the need to run away from here but I didn't want to show that kind of weakness.  Sighing I rested my headd against the cool glass of the window and watched as the trees and such raced by in a blur, Alex had been going on and on about her summer and I had lost interest withen the first few seconds of her talk.  I couldn't understand how Cain 'liked' her, it puzzeld me and made me think more about it and how I didn't understand most of how this 'dating' worked.  I was cut short of my pondering when we pulled up into the school parking lot, the school looked harmless enough, except for the many students that waved at us, well Cain and Alez atleast.  Cain had parked the truck close to the building  and Alex was already out of the truck, by the time I had pushed the seat forward she had slammed the door in my face as Cain had just stepped out of the truck.   I let a growl ripple through my chest and glared at her as I pushed open the door, she was already hugging other females that had came over to meet her. Cain had a crowd coming over to him as well just as he started to help me out of the truck but stopped when his friends had distracted him.  I got out on my own and slammed the door loudly, this was a mistake for the main reason it drew attention to me and hushed most of the chattering students who stared at me dumbstrucked by my appearance.  I remebered from this mornings conversation to go straight to the office to get my things, it was a small town so most of the adults knew who I was and my fake story. Without even the help from Cain I stalked off to the building with the sign saying' Front Office' on it. I  could hear many whispers from the crowd mainly things like"who's the new girl" or from the guys "Man is that Rowan kid luckly to have her living with him.". I grimaced at these things knowing today would be long and rough to deal with.
The front office was chilly and relaxing compare to the blistering heat of outside, even though my red v-cut top was a tanktop my black jeans clung tighter to my slender legs and made it hto to the touch due to the sun beating down with its heat. The office made this almost completly vanish. The female at the front desk smiled warmly at me and got out a folder. "You must be our new student Aliyah" I nodded while walking over to her, everyone here seemed to be over friendly and already knew my name. Small town was the tright term anthonie had used.
"Well heres a folder of thigns you will need Aliyah, your schedual, a map of the school.." she took out each paper while explaining them to for me to understand better, the story was that I had been homeschooled in a place called Germany before my supposide dead "father" had passed away.  it took all of ten mintues for me to memorize everything she had told me and wished me good luck as I walked out of the cool building back into the blistering heat of summer. I decided to wear shorts tommarow if the heat as this bad. . .

Lunch had started at about midday, I was releived to find out we could eat outside where most sutdents chose not to go. My day had gone by slowly so far and the whispering about me only got worse as the day went on. I found out that I had two classes with Alex and four with Cain. Gym was the only class where neither of them were in with me.  Alex had glared at me the entire time during Geometry and biology, I had the definete feeling she had hatred toward me and I didnt mind at all. When I had gotten to the classes Cain was in however , he acted totally different around me then when he did at home.  I was center of attention around all the guys in my class, many had constanltly questioned Cain about me but he only shook his head and looked straight at me as he said "No, I dont know a thing about her and i'd rather not". This was the one thing that had insulted me the most, I kept my gaze away from him now and said nothing to him, even now. . .
 "Hey Aliyah aren't you hungry?"
I was outside where only a few students were to draw less atention to myself by sitting on the low wall by the padio, my back against the building in the shade.
 "No"
I answered bluntly trying my best not to saw more than a few words to him, anger and fustration burning inside me making my stomach churn.

"Come on you have to be as small as you are."
He sat  facing me with one leg on each side of the wall and offered me a cold looking bottle of water. I turned my face away so I wasn't tempted to look at him.
 "I'm fine Cain"
I growled through clenched teeth, my fingernails digging into the skin of my arm. Cain notice this and sighed before setting down the water and leaned forward to me.
"Aliyah don't be mad at me please"
I looked up at the sudden softness in his voice to find him closer than I had expected, his unsual eyes staring at me, no pleading with me.  I growled with clenched teeth, a warning for him to back off. He sighed when I didn't asy anything but only shifted to get farther away from his face and tempting scent, my stomach growled softly and I got up off the wall before he could try to get me to eat with him.
"Please atleast come eat with us Aliyah, everyone is dieing to meet you"
I stopped walking away and growled, thats why he was being so nice all of a sudden, he wanted to show me off to everyone for his benefit. I snarled at this.
"No Cain I won't, besides your girlfriend hates me and I dont like the attention!"
I spat not relizing how much venom wa sin my voice untill after I had said it.  Cain didn't seemed to be hurt by this only shocked at how mad I looked, tears stung my eyes threatening to brim over. I didn't know what had came over me but the same familiar feeling of a monster clawing at me form withen came over me when I met Cain's gaze, my heart throbbed as I turned when the bell rung and students begain to form a crowd to get to class, I slipped into this to get away from Cain, I'd have to deal with him tonight anyhow. I felt my emotions betray me and the tears brimmed over, somehow I couldnt understand human emotions very well here, nor could I think why I felt this way around Cain and why his harsh words from earlier had affected me so. . .
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
When school had ended I walked out of the locker room from Gym to find Alex standing there waiting on me. I almost growled but held my tounge.  She glared at me once more and trapped me near a wall.
"Aliyah, I know your new and everything but heres a little warning."
She smiled fakely at me, I glared back into her dark brown eyes with distaste.
"I noticed how upset you are when Cain isn't around you and with me..." She grinned slightly. "But I want you to know that Cain is mine, he chose me before you even came here into his life so keep away from him or you'll be on my bad side, understand? He doesn't even like you Aliyah so it's just a waste of your time trying"
I said nothing but stared at her, Cain had appeared behind her and looed to my face with concern in his eyes.  I swallowed the emotions that burned in me and looked to Alex.
"Don't worry Alex I won't even be near Cain"
The words burned in my mouth and weirdly made me choke slightly but I said it with a straight face. Before either of them could say anything I had made the decision to walk home today, I knew my way back from this morning and I needed the excercise anyhow. Gym class was nto enough for me.
 "What was that about?"
I heard Cain ask making me turn my head some, Alex had her arms around his neck her face not more and inches from his with a smile.
"Nothing but a little girl talk, love"
She gently pressed her lips to his and I turned to get out of the building as fastas possible,  the raging monster inside me was telling me to fight back but I couldnt without exposing myself so I did the only thing that came naturally to me. I ran. I was off  just as I had dropped my things into the bed of Cain's truck . Woods surrounded most of the area so I decided to head there first, the parking lot was almost empty and I wanted to get away before Cain came. Getting out of the bed of the truck I leaped to the ground with a sigh, my mind was swirling with confusion but stopped when I heard Cain's voice.
 "Aliyah wait. . ."
I didnt turn but only stopped momentarily in my tracks, Cains voice was still full of concern as I felt him place a hand on my shoulder.
"what did Alex say to you?"
He stepped infront of me blocking my escape, I glanced longenly at the woods.
 "Nothing important, just girl talk"
I used her same remark from earlier, there was no use to fight back now, I had already given up on him. Cain staired back in disbeleif.
"If it upsetted you this much then it's not nothing"
Glaring up at him, my green eyes burning with rage and fustrastion I flinched away from his touch as someone walked by. he let his arm fall to his side. I tried to get around him but he just blocked my way, quicker than I was it seemed.
 "Cain just let me go"
I wimpered softly, I longed to get away from this place and ito the woods where I could run freely and forget about everything. I wasn't used to hatred, people in Ferentha were always kind to each other we were gently creatures there but Earth was the total oppisite. Emotions where pushing me to my limit today and getting the better of me, I felt weak and nausiated, my stomach growled in protest from teh lack of food but I ignored it. Cain side stepped just as I made a move to dart passed him, I had almost made it till he caought me by the waist, his touch sent a flare through me.
"It doesn't matter anyhow Cain, you don't like me  and neither does Alex, so just let me go!"

Tears of fustrations burned my eyes making my vivsion blurr slightly when I looked at him, He let his hadn drop from my waist and just staired back at me in disbelief. I took this chance and bolted to the woods. I heard him call my name several times but I didn't turn back when I hit the woods. The speed was a relief, the adrenoline in my veins kept me going, I slowed some when I saw the house come into veiw, I had been running awhile.  Discarding my clothes near the woods edge I felt the Change come upon me, pleasure came upon me when my bones cracked and reform, the ground rushed up as I landed on my hands that were now giant paws. Fur sprung from my dark tone skin, the same color as my hair. My nose extended with my jaw into a snout, teeth sharpend and leghtend. A howl of releif sounded from my jaws and I took off onceagain at full speed. Teh ground became a blur as my paws carried me faster. I was running from my problems, I knew this but I didn't care anymore. I missed Ferentha dreatfully and most of all I missed one person, Zae. Even though he had gotten on my nerves a lot he had his times where I loved him a lot.
 I thought a lot as I ran, I didnt know where I was going but I ran. . .

Ah one can not ignore them, they disrupt your story and make one confused. A few points: Why is Aliyah so apologetic? She knew she was going where she is, and they knew and expected her to be there, so it doesn't work with the story that is is so sorry for being there.

Again, the best way to see if what you write has a flow to it is to read it OUTLOUD. You have sentences that have missing words, some with the wrong words, and others that need descriptives added to allow the reader to understand what you are wanting them to see and feel.

The idea and story is great, but attention to detail in this kind of story is a major part of the story. That and correct wording, Just one example.

"had been homeschooled in a place called Germany before my supposide dead "father" had passed away"

Doubling up on a point takes the reader away from the story, a dead person can not die. here is where you have too many words, drop the word 'dead', then the reader won't be disrupted from the flow of the story to try to figure out how a dead person can pass away.
