IN ALL MANNER OF WAR, WHEN WILL THEIR BE PEACE part IA Poem by LenaPart I - War comes in many forms and fashions.... How could there be peace. See Part-II (the answere)
Mothers crying, their children dying. When will there be Peace? Fathers and sons weeping and mourning, Yet brandishing Guns When will there be Peace?
Blood in the streets, see as it runs, see as it seeps Death near and far, here and there, Death all around us and still no one care When will there be Peace? ˜ So, what is left in the wake of all of this . What is the price we pay, What is mankind's risk? Pestilence and Plague as starvation rage. Famine and Homelessness, children left in a daze Our past we’ve colored, Our present we stain. Let us not destroy the future that remain When will there be Peace? ˜ So you say; Does it really matter, it’s over there? Turn you face, it’s not of our Race Well! Then there is the war that rages with-in, at tomorrow’s dawning, what will it bring? A parent worries, Will there be enough food to feed the little ones A care-giver’s concerned, Is there enough provisions, because the old and feeble still have wants When will there be Peace?
Domestic violence, the spouse, the young and the old Yet there is silence, don’t get involved you are told A baby shot down by a bullet stray, While playing ball in urban decay When will there be Peace? ˜ A person struggles and work hard, material things to achieve Then there’s a break-in and death, because of jealously and greed Or, in your Ride driving form here to there, The price of a car, your death is later compared When will there be Peace? ˜ So with no escape from the pain and confusion, their time they bide With the system so crazy, in drugs some try to hide Then in despair, when all else has failed and there is still struggle and strive So burdened and beaten down some take their own lives When will there be Peace? ˜ Constant worry and concerns also bring grief And from these kinds of devastation and battles, one also needs relief So, When will there be Peace?
