Figure me out

Figure me out

A Poem by Iliana Peters

I've lost myself.

With the spark dimming,

And my dreams shattered,

Now I only have one choice to make.

This is the final count down,

This is the grand finale

Only those that care may see whats happening

Kalyptra on,

I'll marry my fate

Limpid eyes gazing

Love is now lost

More time to focus on what's in front

Yet I still find it heartbreaking

Someone, anyone, I need a helping hand

Enervating , I unravel

Loneliness, your sticky hands grab me

Feral, i'll crawl back into the earth

Back where I belong, back to safety.

reads like something written on a rock - meaning not on an actual rock face, but sitting on one. feeling the slime.

Love the piece of poetry you wrote, you have felt such pain and anger and sorrow so much sorrow, but a very good piece of poetry.
