A Poem by ikss

Face red-raw
she stirs again
Puts a hand on his chest
to feel the subtle thunder
to match her breath
to his
in vain to feel a part
of the man she feels a part
of her

i felt like this took place on a camping trip. no idea why. a last try at connecting love or such things. I've been on both sides of that grasp.

"to feel the subtle thunder" seems to convey how madly in love she is, that even his breathing transcends normal. So succinct and yet you are covering a feeling so complex.
