I'd like to see the world a different place
maybe the way it used to be
maybe the way it never was
I'd like to see myself in a beautiful house, have the best job, live the best life
or perhaps just a pretty good life

I'd like to see less biased pessimists
less corrupt politicians
less racism and social discrimination, as subtle as they may be
I'd like to see less cancer patients
more efforts to find a cure
perhaps more efforts to find a cause
can I also see less exploitation on humanitarian aid
can I see less NGOs who use charity as a guise and a means to take take and take
can I see Africa delivered from the curse of poverty, of disease, of helplessness
can I see these countries as independent nations, prosperous in health, in wealth, in ethics, in morality
I'd like to see all nations come under the anointing and ministry of our Heavenly Father, this God who created all men all things
someday?

yes, I'd like to see these happen
maybe someday
maybe one day
maybe never
but one more thing i'd like to see
that my hope never diminishes
never fails
never runs out
even if all these never happen
I'd like to see
that i never stop hoping that they will.
