Chapter Three

Maddy ran out the school's front door and started running home.

"Maddy!" she heard Eric yell.

She ran faster. She was 3 blocks away form her house when a powerful arm catched her by the arm. Maddy turned around and saw Eric

"Whats wrong?" he asked

"Screw you!" Maddy yelled. She slapped his hand away. She ran again. SHe ran all the way until she was home.

"Hey, how was your day?" Kyle asked. He was taking out the trash.

"Ugh!" Maddy screamed.

She ran inside and threw her backpack on the floor. She ran to the couch and crashed on it. She cried more and more. She was shaking.

Suddenly arms were around her and she was in her brothers arms.

"What happened?" he asked, worry in his voice.

"E-Eric's C-c-cheating" i cried

She felt Kyle's arms flex.

The doorbell rang.

Kyle set Maddy down on the couch and went to open the door.

"What the hell do you want?" kyle asked. Maddy had never heard his voice so... angry... it scared her.

"I want to talk to my girlfriend" Maddy heard Eric's voice

Maddy turned and looked. Eric tried to get in but kyle pushed him back.

"What the hell is your problem?" Eric asked

"Your my problem" kyle said. He lifted his arm and punched Eric across the face. Eric pulled him outside. Maddy jumped off the couch and ran to the door. Eric was on top of kyle, punch his face.

"Stop!" Maddy screamed.

She pushed Eric off of Kyle. Kyle then got up and began punching Eric. Somehow in all the confusion, Eric accidentally punched Maddy.

"Ow!" she screamed, falling back.

Kyle went furious. He began kicking, and punching Eric. Suddenly a cop car turned the corner and police officers separated them.

"Whats going on?" a police officer asked Maddy, helping her up.

Maddy kept my mouth shut.

"That a*****e is cheating on my sister" kyle spit out

"No I'm not! And he just randomly punched me!" Eric said

"You punched my sister!" Kyle shouted

"Is this true?" a officer said

Maddy nodded.

"I'm going to have to take you all down to the station."

Kyle was put in a car with Maddy, Eric was taken in another.

"Mom and Dad are going to kill is" Kyle said

Maddy leaned her head on her brothers shoulder. She was scared for what would happen when their parents found out.
