Day Dreaming

A little something i wrote for someone who i love, who lives too far away

During Class

I close my eyes

I think of how you used to hold me

How you used to lie on my lap

Or me on yours

Your smile is engraved in my mind

Your eyes are engraved on mine

But your words are engraved on my heart

I miss leaning on your chest

I miss you holding me in your arms

I miss looking into your eyes

Why do we have to be pulled apart?

Every time we are,

It hurts us both, deep inside

Ten months away from you

Away from your smile

Your eyes,

Your arms,

Your words.

How do we manage to survive?

I want to stay forever by your side.

I think about it all

Only to be awaken by reality

It is kind of sweet. But it's also really sad. She's dreaming about something that's not there. Something she can't have. I have definitely been there.
