Chapter One - Friends

The bell rang. Everyone began to rush out the door but the teacher, Miss Ortega, had to call someone's name. Stephanie. Stephanie was a delicate girl but she was mostly known for being awkward and a bit clumsy. And what she did worst out of everything was school. Almost a D- for everything, except she got a few B+s. But other than that, she had terrible grades.

"Stephanie? I need to talk to you for a second. This is very important."

"What could it be Miss Ortega?"

"I need you to work on your grades."

"Am I not fine at what I am doing right now?"

"No, you are not even at the basic minimum of the standard. Did you check your report card?"

"Nope. My mom didn't let me look at it."
