the preface to fate

the preface to fate

A Poem by Igor G. Balatsky
"

from ‘Reflections’

"

‘and all, that has been by this day, is only the preface to fate’ *

*

as the sunset is like the sunrise

as late autumn is like early spring

as old people are like little children

so last love can remind very first one

between them there is day and night

between them there is lonesome winter

between them there is a long lifetime

in the dimension of hope

where everything’s now

and

nothing at all is impossible -

between them there is fleeting flash

full of faith in the dream -

expectation of marvel

that was so long-awaited

and yet

it has happened at last in your life

I didn't see "The Hat". But I understand the poem. Beginnings are like endings...as life comes around in a circle...

You tell us much .. Hope is sought and found in each and every moment .. the weakest stillness .. the roaring thunder .. we grasp at life .. If we do it all right ..

Wonder-full ! .. Jazz
