Author's Note

As a rule, earthly love of a man and a woman is a kind of addiction, that is always illusive. But the effect of narcotic substance passes pretty soon - as the sun fades away at the end of the day. It's like a book that, when having been read, becomes uninteresting – and is put aside. This love is based on lust, possessiveness, unfreedom. (Though exceptions may happen, of course. But they only prove the general rule). And quite another thing is universal love: it has neither the beginning nor the ending; it is infinite, boundless - eternal. That is the whole conception.
