white and black

white and black

A Poem by Igor G. Balatsky
"

from 'The Book of Bloom and Fading'

"

the one is laughing

clapping with her palms

another's crying

wiping off her tears

two little birds -

one's white

and black's another:

the future of mine

and my dubious present

Aah, I wouldn't worry about this situation...when what's to come is pleasant, what we have now becomes bearable...that's why we love friday evenings!

perhaps the white little bird represents the one who is laughing and the other is the black one who is crying. these two represent the duality in our lives and he is experiencing both emotions. perhaps the one that is crying represents the negative things in his life and should let it go, or he will be in constant battle within himself. it's a very eloquent poem.

There is much beauty to be found in your work...one only needs to read, to embrace the awe!

Love this font, Igor!
