The Women I Loved

The Women I Loved

A Poem by Igor G. Balatsky
"

from 'Entropy of Love'

"

The women whom I loved

and who loved me

they all now hate me

all of them

though lots of years have passed.

I know the reason why

this matter happened.

They gave me once

the most precious thing

they'd ever had:

they gave me bliss of their love.

And so did I.

They loved and also

they were loved.

And I am grateful. But they hate.

For them all gone now.

But not for me.

And they are sorry, as

they can't get back all that

they gave me once

because my heart possesses it.

But they're not able

to possess me anymore.

I didn't used to love

but I'm still loving them.

And I will always be

despite one's hatred.

. for some, love is a spiritual experience ...
. for others, it's not ... it's about transactions ...
. hence the need for possession in transactions ...

Everyone deals with separation in his own way...I prefer yours :-)
There is always so much wisdom to take away from your writings.. :-)

I'm glad to see you write something longer--not that I don't love your short poems.
Woman often hate where they h ave loved before...it's just in our natures.

SOMETHINGS THAT ARE GIVEN, MAY BE TAKEN BACK .. EXCEPT FOR THE THING WE CALL LOVE .. .. NO ONE CAN TAKE AWAY THE LOVE I HAVE BEEN GIVEN .. AND NO ONE CAN EVER STOP ME FROM LOVING .. ..

SAD . AND BEAUTIFUL .. JASMINE

Yes but in their appologies doesn't it feel like sweet revenge to love another?

Very human, the life-cycle of our affair with love.
