The winged

The winged

A Poem by Igor G. Balatsky
"

from 'Dreamland'

"

She was a snail

but she could fly so high ~

easily and inspiredly.

Where did you get your

wings? I asked her.

I've got no wings, silly,

smiled she and

flew up in the sky.

well, this brings to mind an outwardly plain jane, whom if you got to know her she could really fly and amaze you...otherwise you witnessed a truly magical event. it inspired you to write a great poem.
