.. in these silent pauses of a convo Id like to beat!A Poem by Sarah Ramsbottom.. random 'journal' writingsNo witty banter. My inner monolog has gone nomatic. So let it all playout. Let the will of the gods undo my nest of salt. I have tried to stay in clam mode, tried hard to be polite. But inner me isnt so. My words cut like razors, bite like teeth. Pet me the wrong way, the monster comes unleashed. I cant figure out the parts that are missing. Cant simply fill in these blanks. Seemless smiles that crack, & their empty eyes blink back. I cant handle the sweetness, in backwards conversations. These leeches keep drinking me whole, thinking nothing of me. Bloodletting to keep these veins flowing, to keep the bitterness real.
Im so tired of these monsters. My screaming in the night. Mind you its all in silence. Slave screams... she never knows what you want....
