A Poem by Sarah Ramsbottom
"

this was a song written by me and a friend "Pat Holmes"

"
Reach for me as I reach for you..
A cry in the dark.. I'm remembered by my rage
A blank page...your poem .. filled with your thoughs on me.
Need me like your last breath..
[Crave me like your last breath]
just think of me... think of me.

Father father ... I'm bleeding from my eyes.
Oh sweet child... I believe its from telling lies.
Father father... Then why aren't yours bleeding to?
Oh sweet child... I've never told the truth.
Forgive me father.. For I am sin.

Dressed in my sunday's best,
I'm on my knees waiting to confess..
Oh Holy father bathe me in your tears..
Bathe me in your "holyist" water.

She reaches for me, I brush her away
Sobing in the blackness, I have gone stray
From her ballpoint emptiness, how thoughtless of me
I don't need you, like my last breath
[I don't want you, like my last breath]
Exhaled, it is in memory

Daughter Daughter ... You are bleeding from the eyes
Oh sweet father ... I believe its from seeing lies
Daughter Daughter ... Always looking in the mirror, what have I to do
Oh sweet father ... It's not me I see it's you
Forgive me daughter, For I am sin

Also dressed in my best, confessed with the rest
And am still a fallen angel
