White Shadow – Tylluan Wen
Fleeting, swooping close to sodden ground
You twist and turn in relentless quest Silver hunter, silent death, quarry in sight Diving, harsh rending with talons As you fly, head twists, sweeping glance As I watch keen sight shatters the distance One brief moment, we behold each other Passion of your hunter heart Image also created in similar, fearful symmetry The harrowed can find no consolation therein White seraphim, subtle fluttering ends life Taken by swift wing to far haunt Does it irk parading as light fades Scouring marsh, contending with swift contemporaries Plumed heads abound and fierce gazes, a common prey in mind Cameo's play and unfold to an undeserving crowd © 2008 Ieuan Cilgwri |
