Hard of Heart

Hard of Heart

A Poem by LydiaWrites
"

This is about a relationship I have with a boy. It isn't romantic besides the fact I used to have feelings for him. This is kind of based off what I'd do if he couldn't see me.

"

You're hard of heart

And I'm too sure of myself.

We're invisible to each other-

Ghosts who never see eye to eye.

My fingernails ran against your collarbones;

They left tiny pink markings and a wince.

I wanted to hurt you, I wanted to see you cry out,

But you just stood with a pained scar on your face.

LydiaWrites
I know it's short, maybe I'll make it longer later. But lately I've had a thing for short poems.
