Grandpa Roamed With Dinosaurs

Grandpa Roamed With Dinosaurs

A Chapter by I'd Rather Write
"

A fun poem for all ages!

"

My grandpa roamed with dinosaurs.
He told them what to do.
He yelled, “If you don’t listen to me,
I’ll get my belt on you!”

My grandpa lived like a caveman;
One day, walked in a bear.
That bear was looking for some food to eat,
But Grandpa kicked him out of there!

My grandpa once was a cowboy.
He went to school with Billy the Kid.
Billy would toss up a bean can
And Grandpa would shoot the lid!

My grandpa knew Speed Racer;
Gramps built all of his cars.
One night, he rode with Santa Claus
--They even flew to Mars!

My grandpa sailed with Columbus
Across the seven seas.
He flew in a rocket to the moon one day
And came back with a case of cheese!

My grandpa wrestled alligators
And he climbed Mt. Everest, too.
He swam across all the oceans
And he invented Elmer’s Glue!

My grandpa is the best!
He’s done all there is to do.
Grandpa, when I get bigger,
I hope I'm just like you!
