I Must Believe In Myself

I must believe in myself.

 

Although every day is the birth

Of a new personality in nature

And of new challenges in attitudes

And mixed opinions from others around me,

They are days in which I am blessed to be alive

And which I am given new opportunities to succeed

In my endeavors,

In my struggles,

In my dreams,

In my hopes,

And in my faith.

 

I must believe in myself

 

And not in the surrounding negativity from pessimists

That shower around me

Like the heavy downpour of a cold rain.

I must persistently move forward on a daily basis,

Even if I must persevere my travel on a rough road alone

With no support from anyone.

Although I can be my worst enemy,

My belief in myself can be my greatest strength

In reaching my desired destination.

 

I must believe in myself.

 

As long as I continue to awaken into a brand new day

And continue my ambition to succeed,

I am not, yet, at a loss,

But at a daily gain

Into a prominent direction

For a better future

For myself

And for others,

Whom I will share my earned success with

And whom I will motivate to believe in themselves.

 

I must believe in myself

 

Or doom and failure will infiltrate my entire existence

And I will become like the hopeless crepehangers

Who constantly nag at me that my attempts to succeed

Are unattainable and a waste of my time.
