Prayerful Parents

 

Prayerful parents are . . .

Cherished husbands and wives to each other,

Respected mothers and fathers to their children,

Providers for their family,

Christian leaders in their home,

Walking examples of moral and ethical righteousness,

And caring teachers of God’s Word, prayers, patience, right and wrong,

     honesty, discipline, love, listening, communicating, understanding, and how to

     regain peace and spiritual strength with the Lord after we fall hard in our sins,

     suffer, and feel hopelessly lost.

 

So blessed are all members in the entire family who are fortunate to have in their home this husband and wife who cherish each other, this respected mother and father, these family providers, these Christian leaders, these walking examples, and these caring teachers; but above all, these prayerful and faithful parents,

 

For the family is constantly in the presence of our loving Father in Heaven, who has been listening to every word from the prayerful parents throughout their married lives and has been walking alongside them every moment during their family’s joyful celebrations, their times of trials and hardships, and their days of grievances. 

 

God’s Holy Spirit has been thriving in their well-nourished souls while these parents have been faithfully living together in union with each other and in union with our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
