an occurrence we all have and will face this

i think i saw you somewhere.
maybe in a dream
it had to have been,
cause you smiled and waved at me.
you looked so perfect,
so happy,
so free.
it's then i realized,
you're the one for me.




it's too late,
i guess.
time was not on my side.
without me there
you found someone else to confide.

but,
as long as you're happy,
i'll sit here and wait.
after all that's been done,
that dream was my fate.
