mr. brown can moo, can you?

mr. brown can moo, can you?

A Poem by Puja

up, down, side to side.
carving out the letters.
in jet black ink.
engraving the truth into this canvas.

point-blank for 365 now.
we're running these edges jagged,
until its infinite, and we're going in circles.

let me out, let me out.
i want to explain my heart,
a show and tell of lifelines.
for you, only for you.

i recall all the nights,
a battle to keep you out,
but still you overtook my dreams.

our song still plays in my head.
a rhythm forever pumping through my veins.
im searching for your face in every verse.
holding my breath through every chorus.

but i wont force the words.
gently they'll flow,
out of my heart, and into this note.
my love note, for you.

until days later,
where it will lay,
shredded on the floor.
just like my still beating heart.

i miss you boy. more than you could know. :[

A sad tale of missing a love, but full of deep emotions that should be admired the way you penned them out....

I think I get the title.

Much enjoyed poem =)

Love,
Me

Hello Puja.

As an attempt at a love poem, I love it. We want/we don't want.

This is a great stanza:

i recall all the nights,
a battle to keep you out,
but still you overtook my dreams.

This choice is wonderful, too:
"for 365 now"

great couplet:
im searching for your face in every verse.
holding my breath through every chorus.
