sun flower

sun flower

A Poem by idiotproof--1
"

another short poem a little longer than the others. this one was inspired by a contest.

"
It stands alone, vibrant like the sun.
Tall and strong on its own
but still a delicate flower.
A thing of beauty blooms in darkness
when the sun is covered.
It's life is unseen
and it wilts and dies
alone.

I enjoyed the description. You create life and death with skill of the sun flower. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

The sudden change in the last three lines do not fit the poem to me. I would imagine you did this on behalf of the color scheme.
