I was inspired by rain to write something and this is what happened

Your love is like tears in the rain

And honestly that’s all we ever were

Soon enough this memory will fade

You will be my angel again and I will have forgotten the pain

But for the time being I want you to know

It’s a used fraze but you really are my sunshine

I lived so long in the rain waiting for the rainbow

But when it came it was just different shades of gray

It isn’t about learning to dance

Or enjoy the rain

It’s about finding someone you will wait in the rain for

Even if there is no rainbow

And that was you

You broke through the storm clouds

You brought light into my gloomy world

I wish I knew

You weren’t the sunshine

You were just the calm before the storm
