winters queen

winters queen

A Poem by idiotproof--1
"

I made a contest about the seasons which inspired me to write my own poems for the seasons

"

She has a cold heart

unthawed by seasons past.

At night she plays with the shadows cast under streetlights

where the snow falls as if the world moves slower.

She wears a cold blue skin

untouched by warmth.

She has a breath that can turn water to ice

and words that can make a dark heart feel a warm glow.

She can make everything look brighter

while it feels much darker.

She is alone.

Unchanged a word she does not know.

Trees of beautiful oranges reds and greens

bare in her presence.

Once blue lakes

covered by crystalline ice unable to touch but still seen.

A lone girl in a world of ice and snow.

I am winter she whispers to the wind

and this is my home.

Excellent representation of winter. I agree with the review before me, sounds a lot like Elsa!
