Scars Don't Heal

Scars Don't Heal

A Poem by Texas Identitycrisis

Scars, no one can see

constant reminders

Even surgeon's

sharp knifes don't reveal them

Wondering how,

How to heal them

Scars so deep

No understanding

of how they got there

That life has made them

inside, hiding from view

'til hard they seemingly heal

But forgetting never comes

It's no one's fault

everyone's an idiot

We're all the same

they are there, all the same
