The Kiss

The Kiss

A Poem by Texas Identitycrisis

Kiss in the morning
In the afternoon
Kiss on the nights
That I am lonely...

Distraction, not feeling
Barring sweet, no meaning
Poison laden hooks
Forgive them, ever wondering

How blooms blossom
Soft rose petal, parting
Falls away, cycle
Pollinate and remember

Braided assumption, sunken
The Kiss parting, fell away
Left me waiting, to chance
Faultless Kiss another day
