When I grow up
I wanna be a simpleton
A farmer raising cattle and a pillow of guts
When I grow up
I wanna see the world
fly around in my automobile
When I grow up
I wanna climb a building
send a wave to a satellite

It's our call, no it's our destiny
The value is there the flaw is all you see
Contingency plan has run dry

When I grow up
I'll claim my fame
by remaining the same even with the gray
When I grow up
I'll dream of childhood
so what the hell am I doing now?
When I grow up
I'll hang with celebrity
Shannon Hoon and Layne Staley

It's our call, no it's our destiny
The value is there the flaw is all you see
Contingency plan has run dry

So might I ask you
If you think this is the question, it's so
I'll break in two, its you.
And if you ask just one more question, I know it's so.
I'll break in two, its you.
