plastic suffocate
blue hue through

the streets are flooding still
water down the hill
yellow duck floating by
disappears with the wind
when the sun comes out
it dries up again

onto a beam
metal and clean
unbalanced like steam
forced through an iron
will power fuse
losing to choose

here on the beach
bleached
with sand in my teeth
rubbing and grinding
the way only it can
golden
raw
my body
inside out
hour glass
unconsciously uncaring
remarkably making
up the world
down the path
less muddied
less buddies
less to lose
relevant clues
remain to choose
piecing together
forever puzzle
solution pending
wishing sending
letters to my future self
taking form as you
